EVERYDAY ENDODONTICS
Alumni Speaker Series
Thursday, September 26, 2013 8:15am-11:15am (3 CE hrs) Room 101-B
There haven’t really been any “killer applications” in endodontics for several years. Instead, we have seen the evolution of rotary instruments, irrigating solutions and techniques, retreatement techniques, anesthesia, perforation repair materials, obturation materials, and so on, and, when all is said and done … the basic concepts and instruments are more than enough to accomplish very good patient care. In addition to the course objectives listed below, the course will include reviews of any “late breaking” developments in endodontic treatment.
Course Objectives: • review advances in endodontic irrigation • find canals • review MTA and the many new bioceramics for vital pulp caps and the repair of perforations • discuss endo vs. implants • review importance of including an endodontic diagnosis in treatment notes •
